Scheduled Inspections
Plan inspections in advance so they show up on your calendar and you can pick the best weather window. Schedule a single hive or many at once.
When to Use It
- You want to plan the week's apiary work around the weather.
- You're coordinating inspections across multiple hives or apiaries.
- You want upcoming inspections to appear on your dashboard and calendar.
Scheduling Inspections
- Go to Schedule Inspection (
/inspections/schedule), reachable from the quick-action menu. - Select the hives you want to inspect. You can filter and select several across an apiary.
- Review the weather forecast shown for the apiary — temperature, humidity, and wind for the coming days — to choose a good date.
- Pick a date (and optionally a specific time, or leave it as an all-day plan).
- Add an optional note.
- Choose how to create them:
- Individual scheduled inspections, one per hive, or
- A single batch you can run through in one session (give it a name).
- Submit.
What Happens Next
- Scheduled inspections appear on your calendar and dashboard as upcoming tasks.
- When you open and save a scheduled inspection, it is automatically marked completed (unlike a manual inspection, which you save as draft or explicitly complete).
